FAQ
Questions & answers
If your question isn't answered here, we're happy to help personally.
Getting started
Do I need to be flexible or experienced to start?
Not at all. Yoga meets you where you are. Every session offers options, and beginners are always welcome — flexibility is something that develops with practice, not a requirement to begin.
Is submitting a form a confirmed booking?
No. Forms on this website send an enquiry or enrolment request. Someone from SuHans Yog will contact you to confirm availability, timings and any other details before anything is booked.
What should I wear and bring?
Wear comfortable clothing you can move and breathe in. Bring a yoga mat if you have one, and a bottle of water. It is usually more comfortable to avoid a heavy meal shortly before practice.
Approach
Is SuHans Yog a fitness or weight-loss programme?
Our focus is different. Postures are part of the practice, but SuHans Yog approaches yoga as a practice of attention, breath and self-awareness — a work-in rather than a workout. Any physical benefits are welcome, but they are not the goal.
I have a health condition or injury, or I am pregnant. Can I join?
Please speak with your doctor before starting, and tell us about anything relevant before your first session. We will let you know honestly whether a particular session is suitable. Yoga at SuHans Yog is offered for wellbeing and is not a medical treatment.
Sessions
Do you offer online sessions?
Yes. Many of our sessions are available online as well as in person. Let us know your preference when you enquire.
Where do in-person sessions take place?
SuHans Yog is based in Tagore Garden Extension, New Delhi. Venue details for in-person sessions are confirmed with you when your session is arranged.
How much do sessions cost?
Fees depend on the format — one-to-one, group, online or in person. Please send an enquiry and we will share current details with you directly.
Can you run sessions for our workplace or community?
Yes — corporate, workplace and private group sessions are arranged on enquiry. Share a few details about your group and we will get in touch.
